Cleaning Tips for the Bathroom

1. Get rid of Bathtub Grime

For grime hanging around your tub, you can mix 1/2 cup ammonia with 3 tablespoons of baking soda and 2 cups of warm water to make your surfaces sparkle and shine.

2. Don’t Ignore Your Mirror

Go into your kitchen, and steep 3 black tea bags into some hot water. Put the tea into a spray bottle, and use it to clear off all the stains on your mirror in no time.

3. Keep up with Shower Maintenance

With showers, it is best to adopt the method of cleaning as you go. When you are done in the shower, take a minute and apply a squeegee to the walls of your bathing area. Hang your towels up immediately, and make sure your shower curtain liner rests on the inside of the tub.

4. Clean Your Shower Head

You can wrap this in a plastic bag, making sure to submerge the head in vinegar. Leave it this way overnight, and in the morning, rinse it off thoroughly.

5. Wash those Shower Curtains and Liners

You can take these and throw them into your washing machine along with your old towels and your regular detergent. The towels will help cause friction that will remove the crud from your shower liner.

6. Get your Grout Looking Great Again

Take your scrub brush and some bleach, and scrub the area well. Make sure to open a window and to ventilate your bathroom properly.

7. Wipe down the Ceiling and Walls

You can spray your counters and wall with a good cleanser, while at the same time, turning on your shower to allow the steam to fill the air. Walk out and let the two work together to clean your surfaces. Ventilate well upon re-entering.

8. Make the Toilet Bowl Sparkle

Add baking soda, and let it sit before scrubbing clean. You can also use a pumice stone to get rid of stains and buildup.

9. Don’t Forget to Clean that Toilet Brush

Take some bleach, and pour it over the brush. After a few minutes, pour clean water over the brush to rinse.

10. And the Toilet Brush Canister

Fill this with soapy warm water, and let it stay in there for a while. Afterwards, pour the filthy water into the toilet.
